As the name of the package implies, this editing service is an introduction to how editing might benefit you toward reaching your goal of publishing your work.

We designed The New Author Introductory Package to enable you to gain a quick understanding of the editing process and to determine if you wish to go further. You can then decide whether you need more work with the editor, or if you can implement the changes without any further assistance. If you purchase one of our full editing services after completing the introductory edit, the fee for this service is deducted from the fee for the completion of the edit.

What you can expect from the New Author Introductory Package:

1)    A comprehensive edit of the first 20 pages (double spaced, 12Pt font) of your novella or novel.

2)    A constructive commentary and review of those pages concerning

        A.    Style and substance

        B.    Storyline

        C.    Character development

        D.    Continuity

        E.    Anything else that the editor finds that might help you improve.

3)     Once you finish your rewrite you may resubmit it for the editor to review the changes to ascertain if you effectively answered the questions posed during the editing service or if the same problems persist or new ones arose during the rewrite of those 20 pages.

We base our fee on those in the Writer's Market and it falls between the industry low and average rate.
